With a steaming mug of hot herb tea in my quiet enclave it is wisdom I seek.
Be choosy about what you identify yourself with, because it means the difference between danger and safety … of course y’all know this!
Danger! Danger earthling! Where danger? There danger? Crudely we back up into our “kill” circle, slightly hunched cautiously forward with uncertain arms and hands up in defense stance, our petrified feet dug in for the long run and legs that are rigid and shaking at the same time. Ears suspiciously alert for any threatening sounds, nostrils uneasily flared and all set for the next alarming smell. Eyes nervously darting back and forth, warily looking for dark shadows, for darker shadows, and for the very darkest shadows that cast their dread. Writing this paragraph reminds me that I’ve been there in the world one too many times … scaredy-cat!
To prepare for or to understand danger there are “Danger Proverbs”, supposedly popular nuggets of wisdom. I found many proverbs not to be wise at all, though I did like these two … “When in danger or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout.” Herman Wouk and “In this world, there is always danger for those who are afraid of it!” George Bernard Shaw. Paraphrasing sage advice I found in A Course In Miracles … danger is not real; it is a lie. Truth is your safety. Love is the truth. Love is your safety. Identify with love and you are safe. Identify with love and you are home. Identify with love and find your Self. Identify with perfectly flowing glowing life-love-light. This joyous love circle is boundlessly calm and secure, insuring you safe-conduct in the world.
Now for your chainmail security blanket, identify with love and choose a Love Circle of truly loving ID’s around you like forgiveness and kindness, then unlink and remove the “fear!” and “danger!” ID’s … which are NOT charming charms!
